"For example...we can ‘break’ this using switches on this control panel where each switch that I flip creates a different problem or even multiple issues. Adam, our HVAC professional, has to find each problem and diagnose it properly. In doing this, he proves to [me and our HVAC team] that he has the skill required to identify and solve AC problems in a real-world environment. Not just something put up on a board or a pencil and paper test. He works in the control panel of an actual air conditioner."
David showed us the various switches within the panel, turning on multiple levers simultaneously. Gaining experience working on a real unit, David explained, better prepares Aire Serv of East Valley professionals to solve real-world AC problems. This hands-on experience behind the scenes has made his team qualified and ready to take on all sorts of HVAC repairs in the field.
